About the Instructor

 

Kimberly began her love of dance at the age of 6. She was a competitive highland dancer for 11 years and during that time won numerous championships throughout the United States and Canada. Kimberly is a 6 time United States champion, 5 time United States Regional champion and was also a runner up in the World's Championship in Dunoon, Scotland. She is a certified British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) instructor.

Kimberly was taught by Delma Wilson, Sheila Milne and Sharon (Magnuson) Capitani. She is thankful to have danced under the direction of these prestigious teachers and credits everything she has learned from them. Kimberly looks forward to sharing her love and passion of highland dance with others.

Kimberly resides in Troy with her husband Brad, two red-headed sons Ryan and Brendan and yellow lab, named Toaster.
